Who Is Sabbac?
Sabbac is a military intergang leader who became possessed by a demon and is determined to take over Kahndaq and the whole world. He is the alter ego of a human, Ishmael Gregor, however, he is extensively powerful. The villain made his debut comic appearance in ‘Captain Marvel, Jr. #4‘.
He is DC’s oldest villain, and if you are thinking, where did he get that weird name from, well, his name is actually an amalgamation of six evil lords (pretty much like Shazam’s). He also has a beast-like appearance and a hairy body with thorns instead of his original humanoid form.

Where Does The Villain Draw His Powers From?
If you are thinking that a powerful villain like him must be drawing powers from a really powerful source, then you are right. Sabbac is empowered by six of the worst demons in the DCEU itself. His powers mostly rely upon the evil forces of hell. And, he is presented as the opposite of the Marvel (Shazam!) family.
The supervillain gets his strength from Satan himself. Also, he possesses the body of Aym, and the wisdom of Belial. Moreover, he gets the flaming powers from Beelzebub, the evil courage of Asmodeus, and finally the flight of Cratius.
