Father Of Jeffrey Dahmer Might Sue Netflix
Netflix’s show ‘Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story‘ took everyone by surprise and became one of the most watched shows by the streamer.
Now, his elderly father Lionel Dahmer is contemplating on suing Netflix for allegedly glorifying his son’s murders. Dahmer had killed several homosexual men and boys in the 1980s and early 90s before he was caught.
However, Lionel is suing Netflix for the true crime docu-series titled ‘Conversations with a Killer: The Jeffrey Dahmer Tapes‘. The streamer used secret tapes of Jeffrey’s legal team without getting permission from Lionel Dahmer.
Lionel, who lives in Ohio, was not consulted for the show or the docu-series. He had authored the book ‘A Father’s Story’ in 1994 before Jeffrey was killed in prison by a fellow inmate.

Mother of Dahmer’s Victim Tony Hughes Speaks Out Against The Series
Tony Hughes was one of the people who fell prey to the serial killer. Several people have pointed out that the episode focusing on Hughes is the most heartbreaking in the entire show.
However, Shirley Hughes, the mother of Tony is not happy with the depiction. In an interview, she said that she hadn’t seen all the episodes of the crime show.
Tony was mute and deaf and just 31 years old at the time of his slaying in 1991. Nonetheless, she said that “it didn’t happen like that”.
“I don’t see how they can do that,” Hughes said. “I don’t see how they can use our names and put stuff out like that out there.”
