Why Was Andrew Tate Arrested In Romania?
Tate is a former kickboxer turned known misogynist who spreads his toxic views through his social media handles. He is followed by millions of people. However, he was banned briefly from certain social media platforms.
According to Reuters, Tate along with his brother Tristan were detained in Romania on the suspicion of human trafficking, sexual assault, and forming an organized crime group.
His house was raided in the capital city of Bucharest. The prosecutor said, “The four suspects… appear to have created an organised crime group with the purpose of recruiting, housing and exploiting women by forcing them to create pornographic content meant to be seen on specialised websites for a cost.”
The Tate brothers and two other suspects have been detained for 24 hours. Prosecutors found six women who had been sexually exploited. Tate said that these women are responsible for getting raped and that they belong to men.

Tate And Greta Thunberg’s War Of Words
The arrest happened just a day after the disgraced social media personality got into an argument with climate activist Greta Thunberg on Twitter.
Tate boasted to Greta about the kind of cars he owns which includes a Bugatti, and two Ferraris among others. He then asked for her email address so that he can send her his car details and “their respective enormous emissions.”
