There will not be another live-action ‘Wonder Woman’ movie with Gal Gadot. It never was, according to sources at DC Studios. But Gal Gadot presented a different view, discussing how she’s developing a live-action movie with James Gunn and Peter Safran. DC Studios is officially not completing the ‘Wonder Woman’ trilogy.
Since taking over, James Gunn has focused on resetting the current DCEU timeline with a slate of projects. Gal Gadot was the only survivor, as Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck finally finished their superhero stints. It remains to be seen if the 38-year-old actress will be shown the door with no DC projects on the horizon.

‘Wonder Woman 3’ Isn’t Happening
Gal Gadot’s interview with Comicbook.com discusses the comeback of the Amazonian warrior-princess. She told the outlet, “I love portraying Wonder Woman. It’s so close to and dear to my heart. From what I heard from James and from Peter is that we’re gonna develop a ‘Wonder Woman 3’ together.”
Gal Gadot’s recent comments about another potential ‘Wonder Woman’ movie got the fans talking. But as reported by Variety, no such plans were made. Are James Gunn And Peter Safran Developing Other ‘Wonder Woman’ Projects?
Yes, there’s a ‘Wonder Woman’ project in the pipeline. While unveiling the new DCU slate, Gunn announced a prequel series titled ‘Paradise Lost.’ It was described as a “‘Game of Thrones’-ish story,” set on the island of Themyscira before the birth of Wonder Woman.
Without a ‘Wonder Woman’ movie, Gal Gadot’s position in the DCU is more precarious than before. Having played Wonder Woman/Princess Diana six times, it’s unclear if the ‘Heart Of Stone’ actress will keep making cameos in future DC projects or will be recast as another character.
