In a blog post to fans, Zayn Malik wrote of the “heartbreaking loss” experienced during the week after Liam Payne died. In the statement, he asserted that he had no choice but to postpone all his performances scheduled to start next Wednesday in San Francisco.
“Given the heartbreaking loss experienced this week, I’ve made the decision to postpone the US leg of the Stairway to the Sky Tour,” Malik wrote in the statement. The U.S. leg, which also has stops in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and New York, will be rescheduled for January.

Malik reassured his fans that their tickets would be valid .”All your tickets are valid for the new dates – Love you all and thank you for your understanding,” he wrote in the X post.
The U.S. dates for Malik’s performances are put on hold, though the status of the UK leg of his performances is yet to be known, which is reported to be running from November 20 to December 4.
