“Great Job, Joe!”: Donald Trump Mocks President Joe Biden After He Refers To Kamala Harris As “Vice President Trump”

The rivalry between Donald Trump and Joe Biden is heating up as the presidential elections draw nearer. Though the live presidential debate held last month was a disaster, the leaders are not shying away from taking jabs at each other online. Besides, President Joe Biden’s frequent and highly concerning gaffes have put him under some serious scrutiny as a contestant.

Adding to his embarrassment, Biden made even more blunders at the NATO event by referring to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as Russian President Vladimir Putin, and his Vice President Kamala Harris as his opponent Donald Trump. As hilarious as the blunder may seem, it has further intensified the concerns over Biden’s temperament. And Trump is not shying away from making the best of it.

Another war of words has erupted between US President Joe Biden and his Republican rival Donald Trump after Biden accidentally referred to Vice President Kamala Harris as “Vice President Trump” in a recent slip-up during a press conference at a NATO event. Never the one to miss such an opportunity, Trump took to social media to mock Biden.

“Crooked Joe begins his ‘Big Boy’ Press Conference with, ‘I wouldn’t have picked Vice President Trump to be vice president, though I think she was not qualified to be president.’ Great job, Joe!” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.

The gaffe comes when Biden is already facing mounting criticism over his age and mental fitness. Last month’s shaky debate performance has further worsened the situation. However, Biden is seemingly trying his best to stand his ground.

The President shot back at the comment, asserting that he “knew the difference.” He tweeted, “By the way: Yes, I know the difference. One’s a prosecutor, and the other’s a felon,” a pointed reference to Trump’s conviction in a hush-money case involving porn star Stormy Daniels.

Earlier on Thursday, Joe Biden mistakenly referred to his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy as “President Putin” at the same press conference. Biden invited Zelenskyy to speak but stumbled over his words, as he was joined by 32 allies and foreign leaders for the announcement of the “Ukraine Compact,” a new initiative to bolster aid to Ukraine in its ongoing war with Russia.

I want to hand it over to the President of Ukraine, who has as much courage as he has determination. Please welcome President Putin,” Biden said. Realizing his mistake, he corrected himself, saying, “Zelenskyy is going to beat President Putin.”

Zelenskyy took the mistake in stride, responding with a lighthearted comment, “I’m better,” to which Biden agreed and the situation was pacified .

Biden is currently under heavy pressure as a growing number of Democrats have urged Biden to reconsider his re-election campaign. Even actor George Clooney, a major fundraiser for Democrats, has called on Biden to exit the race. Biden, however, is resolute in his decision to run.
