Tesla and SpaceX head Elon Musk‘s armchair involvement in politics is no news. He has long adhered to a certain ideology that has clearly reflected in many of his controversial statements, both on and off social media. As the presidential elections approach, the billionaire has been vocal about his support for Republican candidate Donald Trump, with direct statements such as praising him for surviving an assassination attempt, as well as indirectly by making lewd remarks at Kamala Harris supporter Taylor Swift.
Causing a stir yet again, Musk has this time directly endorsed Trump at one of his recent rallies. On Saturday, Musk addressed the crowd, wearing a blazer over an “Occupy Mars” T-shirt, and a “Make America Great Again” cap as he jumped up onto the stage twice. Here’s everything he said and did while promoting Trump.
Elon Musk Urges People To Vote For The “Most Important Election Of Our Lifetime”
Elon Musk seemingly had his game on point as he played up the eccentric image of a “Dark MAGA: that has won him so much attention. “As you can see, I’m not just MAGA, I’m dark MAGA,” he said. Musk energized the crowd as he repeated Trump’s infamous “Fight! Fight! Fight!” chant while encouraging the audience to get registered to vote and be active in the election.
Musk’s visit comes shortly after his tweets praising Trump for surviving a gunman attack in Butler, Pennsylvania — the same place where this rally was being held. Trump didn’t seem hesitant to lavish praise on Musk, asserting that the tech mogul is instrumental in “saving free speech” after he took over social media platform X, formerly Twitter, and built Tesla.

Musk returned the favor saying, “President Trump must win to preserve the Constitution and democracy“. He then called the 2024 US presidential poll the “most important election of our lifetime“.
“There is no truer test than courage under fire,” he said.“Get everyone you know, and everyone you don’t know, drag them to register to vote. If they don’t, this will be the last election. That’s my prediction,” he told the Republican supporters.
Elon Musk’s Alliance With The Republicans Is Taking Roots
Though Elon Musk often speaks in defense of the former president on X, it was the first live rally speech for him. Musk focused his attacks on Democrats, once again spouting unproven assertions that they want to take away freedoms — the worst being the right to vote.
Taking to his X account shortly after, Musk stated that if Trump doesn’t win, the “Democratic Party will legalize so many illegals that there will be no swing states”. “America will become a single-party socialist state, just like what happened to California, where they just made requiring voter ID illegal,” he wrote in the post.
If @realDonaldTrump doesn’t win, the “Democratic” Party will legalize so many illegals that there will be no swing states!

The alliance between him and the Republicans seemingly keeps growing, with Musk pitching the idea of running a “government efficiency commission” in a future Trump administration — an offering that could seem like an anti-ideology promise. With Musk lending his wealth and platform to Trump’s campaign, the alliance between the Tesla billionaire and the very anti-environmental politician continues to grow.
