The United States is set for the Presidential elections this year. As November grows closer, the basic competition between the Democrats and the Republicans is getting branched with many other people willing to join the potential race.
While there are a variety of people who have expressed their will to contest the upcoming elections, the most recent contender is a man from Texas who has taken a rather unconventional approach to express his frustration with the current political landscape by legally changing his name to “Literally Anybody Else” and then launching a long-shot presidential bid.

“This Isn’t About Me”: “Literally Anybody Else” Says He Intends To Change The Political Scenario In The US
Formerly known as Dustin Ebey, a man from Texas has undergone a symbolic name change in hopes that it will work in his favor as he navigates politics. A teacher and an Army veteran from North Richland Hills, the man intends to resonate with voters who are tired of the polarizing options that either side with former President Trump or President Biden.
In a recent interview with ABC News affiliate WFAA, “Literally Anybody Else” said that his candidacy is more about promoting the idea that there are better alternatives among the 300 million people in the country than it is about his personal ambitions.
“This isn’t about me, ‘Literally Anybody Else,’ more so as it is an idea. We can do better out of 300 million people for president,” he told WFAA.
“This will be very hard to do, but it’s not impossible. My hope is to have Donald Trump, Joe Biden, and then Literally Anybody Else right underneath,” he said. “I really want there to be an outlet for folks like me who are just so fed up with this constant power grab between two parties that has no benefit for the common person.”

“Literally Anybody Else” Is Aware Of The Challenges That Await Him As A Presidential Candidate
The man asserted that he is “not delusional” and is well aware of the challenge of securing enough signatures to appear on ballots as an independent candidate. But “Literally Anybody Else” remains undeterred, as he envisions his name listed alongside Trump and Biden on ballots.
Amid the strict requirements set by Texas law for independent candidates, the man is urging residents to support his candidacy as a write-in option that would bypass the signature collection process. By registering as a write-in candidate, he aims to provide the voters with a viable alternative and challenge the status quo dominated by the two major parties.
Ahead of the polls, reports have indicated widespread dissatisfaction with the prospect of a Trump-Biden rematch. A majority of Americans have tepid enthusiasm for either candidate. “Literally Anybody Else” hopes to capitalize on this while also trying to change the narrative around the current political dynamics in the United States.
