Twitter has been seeing unprecedented changes on the platform since Elon Musk bought it. However, the quantity has been a question for a long time of the quantity of the reforms. Since October 2022, Musk has been striving to increase the drinking revenue on the platform by introducing various features. The first one was the $8 subscription to access exclusive features.
Elon Musk is also directing his efforts to make Twitter the “digital town square.” The advertisers have complained about the harmful content that is sporadically rising on the platform despite appointing a Trust and Safety Council. When the billionaire took over Twitter, he ensured to filter the content uploaded and also made sure there will be a reduction in the bot attack. Now, he is rolling out another feature to prevent the inundation of bot messages in people’s DMs for Twitter Blue subscribers.

In December 2022, Elon Musk openly challenged bots and trolls to attack him on Twitter. He has been trying to get rid of the bots on the platform and after the challenge, it was proven that the ex-CEO of Twitter prevented the bots from “swarming to the top of my replies.” Musk aimed to remove and shut down the bots as soon as they showed up. He wrote, “Twitter will also be moving to prosecute scammers anywhere on Earth.”

Twitter received a complaint from a user that his feed is filled with bot tweets. So, Twitter replied to his concern. It linked to an update where it revealed that a new feature will allow only Twitter Blue subscribers to send DMs to people that do not follow them. It wrote, “This would nearly eliminate DM bot spam at a stroke.”
Elon Musk also chimed in the thread to tell that the feature will be rolled out this week. The billionaire opined that social networks that have verifications in place will only survive.

The Platform Will Pay The Content Creators For Ads Generated
Elon Musk, in the early stage of his acquisition, made sure to generate various channels of revenue. He wrote an email to the existing employees at that time after the layoffs. In the email, he suggested introducing a banking system on the platform and helping the content creators monetize for uploading content on Twitter.
In a few weeks, X/Twitter will start paying creators for ads served in their replies. First block payment totals $5M.
