Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been living a peaceful life away from the royal family’s caste system since 2020. The couple has settled down in their Montecito house, which they purchased in July 2020 for $14.65 million with a $9.5 million mortgage. They decided to shift their bases to the US due to intrusive royal family media and ill-treatment from the royal family.
Recently, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a fun weekend together. The couple attended the SoFi Stadium concert of Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance Tour.’ Harry attended the Inter Miami CF and Los Angeles FC match. Meghan also attended the last night of Queen Bey’s concert with Kerry Washington and Kelly Rowland. But the couple has allegedly also visited Malibu to tour a piece of land worth $8 million.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Are Not Moving To Malibu
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as per TMZ, visited Malibu to look for a plot of land that is worth $8 million. A source told TMZ that “the Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent part of their holiday weekend touring an $8 million plot of land” in Malibu, which is apparently “a pricey slice of paradise.”
The land is sprawling over six acres, and “the foundation is laid for a 10,000 sq. ft. main residence.” The property faces Broad Beach, and it is right above the Pacific Coast Highway. The couple is planning to sell their Montecito apartment as the drive from Malibu to Los Angeles and Beverly Hills will be just an hour. The reason cited by TMZ is that they are buying the Malibu house because “it’s close enough to Hollywood for them to do business, but far enough from Hollywood to give them security and privacy.”
However, Page Six reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not moving out of Montecito. The representative of the couple said, “There is no truth to them moving to Malibu or anywhere.” The person even confirmed that the pair was not even in the California beach town over the weekend.

The Couple Has Vacated Their Frogmore Cottage Residence In The UK
After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got married in 2018, Queen Elizabeth II gifted the couple Frogmore Cottage at Windsor Castle. The sprawling, serene property has a history attached to it. King Henry VIII bought the house, and Queen Charlotte moved into the property along with her daughters. Queen Victoria and Prince Albert were buried together.
Recently, King Charles III announced some budget cuts for royal family members from the Privy Purse. The monarch asked the members to look after the personal gifts, including property reparations. So Harry and Meghan have decided to vacate the property.
Sir Michael Stevens, in charge of the Privy Purse, confirmed the news. He released a statement, saying, “We can confirm that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have vacated Frogmore Cottage.”
He continued, “We will not be going into any detail on those arrangements here. It is safe to say that, as has previously been stated, the duke and duchess have paid for the expenditure incurred by the sovereign grant in relation to the renovation of Frogmore Cottage, thus leaving the crown with a greatly enhanced asset.”
