Tom Cruise will be at the coronation concert that will take place a day after King Charles’ coronation. According to a Variety report, Nicole Scherzinger (the face of Pussycat Dolls) and Winnie the Pooh will be also attending the concert.

All these names have earlier also appeared in royal events. In 1997, the ‘Top Gun: Maverick‘ actor was a guest at the funeral of the late Princess Diana. Last year, Nicole took part in the Platinum Jubilee pageant in honor of Queen Elizabeth II.

Pooh also took part in 2006 at a children’s garden party to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s 80th anniversary. Both Cruise and Pooh will appear alongside Joan Collins, Tom Jones, dancer Oti Mabuse, and Bear Grylls. All of them will do several pre-recorded VTs where they will talk about the lesser-known facts about Charles.

Earlier this month, it was announced that Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and the English band Take That will be the first set of performers at the coronation concert. The concert will take place on May 7 inside Windsor Castle.

Opera singers Andrea Bocelli and Bryn Terfel, and classical-soul composer Alexis Ffrench, along with several others will also perform at the event. Paloma Faith, Steve Winwood, Pete Tong, Olly Murs, pianist Lang Lang, and Sonam Kapoor will also attend the event.

The proceedings of the event, which will be produced by BBC studios, will be hosted by Hugh Bonneville. “To share the stage with the other performers at The Coronation Concert is a once-in-a-lifetime event and it will be an honor and a celebration,” Richie said about his performance.
