“It Was Disgusting”: Howard Stern Slams King Charles’ Coronation

King Charles III was officially crowned as the King of the United Kingdom and 14 other Commonwealth realms. The event was extravagant, lavish, and royal in every sense of the world. However, not everyone is happy with this show of wealth, including Radio host Howard Stern.

Recently, Stern slammed the British monarchy as well as Charles for this event amid the times when England is going through an economic downfall. He called the entire event “disgusting.” So let us find out in detail what Stern said about Charles’ coronation ceremony.

On Monday, Howard Stern took a dig at the royal family on SiriusXM’s ‘The Howard Stern Show.’ “England’s gotta get a grip on themselves,” he said. “I understand, maybe it brings in tourism, but Jesus H. Christ“.

He then called King Charles a “p***y”. Adding, “That’s No. 1 — and people are acting like — the whole ceremony they’re acting like that f–king guy went to war or something, and then beat up all the other people.”

It was disgusting,” he continued. “And I’ll tell you why it’s disgusting. I mean, it doesn’t take a brain surgeon to say this, but, you know, England’s having its own economic problems and they spent a fortune on that coronation.”

Prince Harry attended his father’s coronation ceremony. He was seated on the third row, two rows behind the senior members of the royal family. Throughout the event, the Duke of Sussex did not talk to his siblings.

He was alone and even left alone before the coronation was over. Meghan Markle, on the other hand, stayed in California with her two children. Harry also left to attend his son Prince Archie’s 4th birthday.

The post-coronation event, which took place at Windsor Castle, saw the performances of celebrities like Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Tom Cruise among others.
