Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Documentary Was A Subject Of Criticism
After the documentary premiered in December 2022, there was a lot of criticism of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Harry described his family as biased in the documentary and that the British media emphasized Markle’s biracial background after the duo’s marriage.
Meghan Markle was also critical of the British press, saying that they created their own stories. The documentary was part of a production deal worth $100 million between Netflix and the couple. Since moving away from the royal family, they have been trying to make their own money.
British media targeted a few moments from the documentary, including footage where the paparazzi circled around the couple and revealed that the moment happened at a benign event. There was criticism towards the filming process which seemed to happen at the couple’s residence in Montecito, California but the scenes were shot somewhere else.
