Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s relationship with the British Royal family have been deteriorating ever since they left the UK. The couple’s recent tell-all spree about the family further damaged their rapport with everyone, including Prince William and King Charles III.
Recently, a royal expert has said that William “was calculated” and deliberately put the Duke of Sussex at bay over certain matters. The two have not been on talking terms which is expected to continue at the coronation ceremony as well. So let’s find out in detail what the expert said.
The Rift Between Prince Harry And Prince William Continues
A royal expert named Tina Brown has stated that Prince Harry knew that his elder brother Prince William “was more calculated” than him. She said that they are “totally estranged” at the moment.
“The longer Harry dwells on what happened in his life, the more he feels resentment against William”, she said. “He feels, I think, that William was even more calculated, essentially, in making him the number two, making him the spare, and feel like the spare at all time.”
She then revealed that organizers of the coronation have been informed that “Harry won’t be attending the concert with the rest of the Royal Family, which is a shame as it will be such a spectacular event.”
Earlier, columnist Angela Mollard said that the brothers “won’t exchange a word” at the event. In his memoir ‘Spare‘, Harry wrote about an instance when William physically attacked him.

Harry Is Looking For An Excuse To Avoid The Coronation
Another royal expert named Tom Bower believes that Harry is looking for a reason to not attend the event. “I didn’t think he would come and I think he’s looking for an excuse not to come because quite clearly he has been put back into the guest list area of the Abbey rather than the front,” he said.
The prince has been seated 10 rows behind the other members of the royal family. There were reports that he will only spend 24 hours in London as he has to fly back to California to attend Archie’s 4th birthday which falls on the same day.
Meghan Markle, on the other hand, has decided to skip the event and stay with her children in the US. Their two kids, Archie and Lilibet, were not officially invited to the coronation ceremony.
