Prince Harry Celebrates His Birthday At The Invictus Games
September 15 marked the 39th birthday of Prince Harry. And this time, his wife Meghan Markle and the competitors participating in the Invictus Games, gave the Duke a memorable birthday wish. As the couple sat through the volleyball game between Poland and Germany, the spectators and players had a festive performance of “Happy Birthday” to Prince Harry. According to People, the Prince blushed through the wishes and gave a thumbs-up to the crowd.
The Invictus Games organizers also wished Harry for his birthday with a sweet note on their X (Twitter) account. “You’ve given hope, inspired millions and never stop putting a smile on people’s faces,” the message read. Royal Family Stays Silent
Though Prince Harry received a lot of love from around the world, it seems like his family didn’t seem to shower him with wishes. However, it is obvious. The feud between the couple has aggravated over the years with the Netflix docu-series and the Duke’s memoir ‘Spare’. No tribute was attributed to King Charles’ secondborn. Neither did Meghan Markle receive any wishes from the Royal establishment on her birthday on August 9.
Last year, Prince Harry had his birthday fall just a week after the death of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth. The couple was in the U.K. taking part in the funeral events leading to the monarch’s state funeral on September 19. The duke also had another death cloud on one of his earlier birthdays. Princess Diana who died on August 31, 1997, had her funeral nine days before Harry’s 13th birthday.
