He Did Not Take The Death Of Princess Diana Very Well
One of the most tragic deaths of the last millennium was of the public icon Princess Diana. She died in a tragic accident. When Diana left the Hotel Ritz in Paris with Dodi Al-Fayed, the car they were traveling in hit a pillar at the under-bridge near the Seine River. After the toxicology reports, it was proved that her driver Henri Paul had an “elevated blood alcohol level”.
However, his father asked him and his brother Prince William to suppress their emotions. The whole incident triggered panic attacks and anxiety. Prince Harry said, “I was just all over the place mentally. Every time I put a suit on and tie on … having to do the role and go, ‘right, game face’, look in the mirror, and say, ‘let’s go’. Before I even left the house I was pouring with sweat. I was in fight-or-flight mode”.
He continued “I was willing to drink, take drugs, and to try and do the things that made me feel less like I was feeling”.
