Prince William is reportedly standing firm in his position on Prince Harry despite the Duke of Sussex’s recent reunion with King Charles.
The meeting between father and son sparked fresh speculation that relations within the Royal Family could finally be improving, but royal experts believe William’s feelings toward his younger brother have not changed.
Prince William Reportedly Remains Wary After King Charles Met Prince Harry
Harry’s recent meeting with King Charles marked their first reunion in around four years. It made headlines and prompted renewed hope that the long-running family rift might finally begin to heal. While many wondered whether the meeting could help Harry and Prince William to reconnect, royal commentators believe that is unlikely.

A royal biographer shared his thoughts, explaining that William is not expected to object to his father. However, he said the Prince of Wales continues to carry deep emotional scars from everything that has happened over the years.
Jobson suggested that William still feels betrayed by Harry and no longer trusts him. Because of that, he believes a reconciliation between the brothers remains a distant possibility.
Royal Experts Believe William Wants No Part In The Situation
Royal author Ingrid Seward echoed a similar opinion. She said Prince William is likely to keep his distance from the situation altogether. According to her, William would rather let Harry and Meghan manage their relationship with King Charles without expecting him to become involved.

Seward also explained that William currently has little reason to reach out to Harry. In fact, he has shown no interest in arranging a reunion with his younger brother. She added that while Harry’s desire to meet his father is understandable, it should not be viewed as evidence that the relationship between the two princes is improving.
Although King Charles’ meeting with Prince Harry has generated optimism among royal watchers, experts believe it has not altered Prince William’s outlook. The Prince of Wales reportedly continues to approach the situation with caution and remains emotionally guarded. For now, the reunion appears to be a step between father and son rather than a sign of a broader Royal Family reconciliation.
