Charles Spencer Reacts To Kate Middleton’s Cancer News
As Kate Middleton’s disappearance continued to create headlines, Charles Spencer voiced his concerns following the string of absurd rumors and conspiracy theories about the Princess.
“I do worry about what happened to the truth,” he had said, followed by a comparison between “online kind of conspiracy” to the “press intrusion” his sister Diana had endured.
“If I look back to ’97 and Diana’s death, I think that was so shocking, the circumstance of her death was so shocking, that it did make the industry that supports the paparazzi really consider more carefully what it could and couldn’t do,” he said.
Now after Kate has come out with an official statement regarding her diagnosis, Spencer, who happens to be Kate’s uncle-in-law has praised her on social media.
Reposting the footage he wrote, “Incredible strength and poise.”

Kate Middleton’s Cancer Diagnosis
Following the public’s dissection of her condition, Kate Middleton came forward to provide an update on her health, revealing that she is undergoing treatment for cancer.
“In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous,” she said, “The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.”
She also added, “As you can imagine, this has taken time,” she continued. “It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment. But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte, and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be ok.”
Thanking the public for their support she said, “As is the love, support, and kindness that has been shown by so many of you. It means so much to us both. We hope that you will understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space, and privacy while I complete my treatment.”
