It seems the Royal Family is quietly severing ties with the youngest royal, Prince Harry, as they edited out a significant statement the Prince made about his relationship with wife Meghan Markle, from the official website.
This is the second time the Royal Family website has made changes to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s sections in the website. Here’s what statements they have edited out this time.
Prince Harry’s Statement About Meghan Markle Got On The Bad Side Of Royal Family Website
The British royal family’s website no longer has Prince Harry’s significant 2016 statement, which confirmed for the first time that he was dating Meghan Markle.
A rare statement denouncing the “wave of abuse and harassment” his then-girlfriend faced when their relationship became known was made public by Harry’s communications secretary in November 2016. In the years that followed, the message was still accessible on the royal family’s official website, but the link is no longer active.
Part of the statement read, “Prince Harry is worried about Ms. Markle’s safety and is deeply disappointed that he has not been able to protect her.” Adding, “It is not right that a few months into a relationship with him that Ms. Markle should be subjected to such a storm. He knows commentators will say this is ‘the price she has to pay’ and that ‘this is all part of the game.’ He strongly disagrees. This is not a game — it is her life and his.”

What Did The Royal Family Edit Out From The Website Previously?
The profiles of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were significantly updated on the official website of the royal family a short while ago. The Duchess and the Duke of Sussex had separate profiles on the website until before, but now their profiles have been merged into one.
Their profile now starts with a statement referring to their decision of stepping down from their royal roles in 2020. “As announced in January 2020, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have stepped back as working members of The Royal Family. The couple married in St George’s Chapel, Windsor on 19 May 2018 and have two children: Prince Archie of Sussex and Princess Lilibet of Sussex,” the statement read, referring to their children.
