Relationships are a complicated affair in the Royal Family. Due to the publicized nature of the British Monarch, these complexities are wide open for people to judge and opine on. One of the examples is King Charles III who had a tumultuous marriage with Princess Diana and was later scrutinized for his alleged affair and then marriage to Camilla. After the death of Queen Elizabeth II, King Charles ascended to the British throne.
Camilla also received the title of Queen Consort. His coronation ceremony will be taking place on May 6th, 2023. Charles has always been in the public eye for the disturbed relationship he had with Princess Diana. Before their marriage, he was in a relationship with Camilla. After Diana’s tragic death, the two came back together and married one another in 2005. However, when King Charles III was young, he made a statement about choosing a wife when one is a part of the Royal Family. It has now resurfaced on the internet.

King Charles III Revealed That It Is Difficult To Find A Woman To Marry
A new video of King Charles III when he was merely 20 years old has resurfaced on TikTok. It is a snippet from an interview with BBC Independent Television in 1969. In the video, we see young King Charles III expressing his thoughts on why it is difficult to find the perfect woman to marry. He said, “When you marry in my position you’re going to marry somebody who perhaps one day is going to become queen. And you’ve got to choose somebody very carefully”. At that time he was the Prince of Wales and he married Princess Diana.
In the interview, he further said that he wants to marry someone “who could fulfill this particular role”. He explained, “Because people like you would expect quite a lot from somebody like that and it’s got to be somebody pretty special”. King Charles started the advantage of marrying someone who belongs to a Royal lineage. He said, “The one advantage of marrying a princess for instance, or somebody from a royal family is that they do know what happens. The only trouble is that I often feel I’d like to marry somebody English or perhaps well [Laughs] British”.

Prince Harry Claimed That Men In The Royal Family Want To Marry Someone Who Fits In The Mold
Since December 2022, both Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been on a roll belting content. First in the line was the explosive docuseries which might have created a rift in the Royal Family titled ‘Harry & Meghan’. He claimed that Prince William shouted at him when proposed the idea of exciting the Royal Family. In one of the bombshell confessions, the Duke of Sussex also said that the Royal Family members marry people who fit in the mold.
Prince Harry said, “For so many people in the family, especially obviously the men, there can be a temptation or urge to marry someone who fits in the mold, as opposed to somebody who you are perhaps destined to be with”.
He continued, “The difference between making decisions with your head, or your heart. And my mum [Princess Diana] made most of her decisions, if not all of them, from her heart. And I am my mother’s son”.
