After months of media speculations, it was announced that Prince Harry will be attending his father King Charles‘ coronation ceremony in May. This comes right after both Harry and Meghan Markle gave multiple interviews, and released a Netflix docu-series and a memoir where they talked about the royals.
It has been recently reported that the Duke of Sussex has been making several “homesick” calls to his father ahead of the coronation. Markle, on the other hand, has decided to stay in California and take care of their children. So let us find out the details of Harry’s frequent calls to his father.

Prince Harry In Touch With King Charles Before The Coronation
According to a Mirror report, Prince Harry is making frequent “homesick” calls to King Charles to seek “reassurances” for his visit to the UK on the coronation day. He is concerned about his security and “where would he be placed within any kind of seating plan”.
It was recently revealed that the Duke of Sussex will be seated ten rows behind other senior members of the Royal family during the event. The seating arrangement is seen as a snub from the royals.
Some people believe that Harry’s attendance at the event might be a step toward fixing his relationship with his family which was deteriorated by his claims in his memoir, ‘Spare.’

Harry And Charles Had Several “Peace Talks”
It was recently reported that the father-son duo had “positive conversations” about Harry attending the coronation. These peace talks took place before the Palace made an official announcement about Harry’s arrival.
However, he did not talk to his elder brother Prince William. The two reportedly have not been in touch since the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II last year. In his memoir, Harry made several explosive claims about his brother.
One of them was an instance when William physically attacked him over Meghan Markle. William called Meghan “difficult” and “rude” which led to an argument that resulted in William pushing him.
“He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me“, Harry recalled in his book.
