Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have caught the ire of the royal family due to their recent media behavior. The couple has been belting out content, maligning the image of the royal family through print and broadcast media. Due to this, the family and the monarch, King Charles III, have been treading lightly on the Harry and Meghan subject.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to exit the royal family in 2020 due to the ill treatment and media intrusion. Their Netflix project ‘Harry & Meghan’ and Harry’s memoir ‘Spare’ created a big stir, which created a rift between them. After tainting their image, the couple is reconsidering moving back with the royal family. However, the monarch will not allow them to move back, as per a royal expert.
Britain Was Not Happy With Prince Harry And Meghan Markle
The royal family has been actively trying to cut ties with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry since their media stunts. King Charles III asked the couple to empty their British residence in Frogmore Cottage. Now, a royal expert, Esther Krakue, has weighed in on the matter, speculating that King Charles III feels that the couple is a “good riddance.”
Esther Krakue said, “For the longest time, the British public weren’t happy to pay for the Sussexes. Especially when the mood soured about their public persona and public profile.”
She added, “It seemed particularly in the case of Meghan, all they were doing was complaining. Being a member of the royal family is a huge privilege, but it comes with responsibilities, a sense of duty, and the couple never got that.”

King Charles III Called The Couple A Good Riddance
Esther Krakue continued, saying, “I think King Charles knows that, because that is probably the case, they will never return to active royal life. Good riddance. Prince Harry and Prince Andrew find themselves in a similar situation in that there are no roles for them back in the royal family.”
She said that King Charles III is in tandem with the pulse of the Brits in regards to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. So he will not allow the couple to come back to the royal family. Esther added, “[Charles] is more determined to have the royal family to be the way he looks like under his leadership. That was where it ended. Harry and Meghan Markle have no place within the royal family. Queen Elizabeth’s passing will be commemorated, and the Sussex’s are nowhere to be found.”
She concluded, saying, “King Charles knows how the public feels about the Sussex and Prince Andrew. Most people want their titles removed. And if King Charles is reading the room, he knows much of his popularity comes from listening to the public.”
