Netflix has released some of the best shows over the years in different genres. ‘Cobra Kai’ is one of those shows and it has received a positive response for the first five seasons.
The show has also been a recipient of various accolades ever since it premiered back in 2018. Considering the positive response, the producers have confirmed a sixth season but production has been stopped for now due to the WGA strike that started on May 2, 2023.

‘Cobra Kai’ Season 6: Plot Details
After five seasons of ‘Cobra Kai’, Daniel and Johnny let go of their differences so that Cobra Kai can be taken down under Terry Silver. LaRusso and Lawrence’s dojo would then confront each other in the Sekai Taikai and now that Kreese is no longer in prison and Kim is the de facto leader of Cobra Kai, the events would become more intense.
The sixth season will be the final season of the show and a lot of storylines would be wrapped up in this season. Johnny and Carmen are all set to become parents and Robby is attempting to help Kenny while Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang are participating in a karate tournament.
Audiences are also eager to know about the future of the franchise after the end of ‘Cobra Kai’. Creator Hayden Schlossberg stated that they have a lot of ideas to continue the franchise in the future.

‘Cobra Kai’ Season 6 Release Date And Cast
The fifth season of ‘Cobra Kai’ came out in 2022 and a sixth season was immediately confirmed. Season 6 was supposed to start production in May 2023 but the WGA strike has brought a major change and possibly the new season will get a delayed release now.
A majority of the cast members are expected to return. This includes William Zabka and Ralph Macchio. Apart from them, Martin Kove, Thomas Ian Griffith, Sean Kanan, and Yuji Okumoto might reprise their roles.
