‘Snowpiercer’ received decent feedback from critics and audiences when it was released on TNT. The show aired for a total of three seasons and fans are now eagerly waiting for the fourth season.
It is a reboot of the film of the same name that was released in 2018. It focuses on the passengers of a moving train called Snowpiercer and it has remnants of humanity seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland.
‘Snowpiercer’ Season 4 Release Update
The first three seasons of ‘Snowpiercer’ were successful and audiences were excited to watch the fourth season. The renewal happened even before the release of Season 3 but reports came out in January 2023 that the fourth season won’t air on TNT.
Season 4 was supposed to be the final season but Warner Bros. Discovery planned not to release the rest of the episodes. A TNT spokesperson also addressed the report, saying that it was a difficult decision and praised the hard work of the cast and crew that were involved with the show.
The spokesperson added that they are trying to find a new place for the fourth season and that they are planning to work with the producers sometime in the future.

Filming For ‘Snowpiercer’ Season 4 Is Complete
It is confirmed for now that the fourth season of ‘Snowpiercer’ has been already filmed. This means that fans won’t have to wait too long to watch Season 4 and the only thing that needs to be done now is to find a new place for the new season to air.
TNT confirmed back in June 2022 that the fourth season will be the final season. However, Tomorrow Studios later confirmed that they are working on a few spin-offs which will be leading to a big franchise. This means that the journey of ‘Snowpiecer’ is not ending so soon.
