‘Gilmore Girls‘ is a classic American sitcom that has garnered a huge audience. It features family drama, pop culture references, and various celebrity guest stars. While viewers might recognize some faces, they will be taken aback to hear some names that they promise did not appear on the show.
‘Gilmore Girls’ was a beloved household staple, and Lorelai and Rory’s fast-talking quips never failed to amuse. However, the show was also a platform to catapult up-and-coming actors into fame. Here are ten celebrities you forgot appeared on ‘Gilmore Girls’.
10. Rami Malik
In the episode ‘In the Clamor and the Clangor’ of season 4, Rami Malik filled in the shoes of Andy, a fellow student of Lane Kim at her Seventh-day Adventist college. This was Rami’s first acting gig.

In a chat with Vulture, Rami said he was shocked that people even realized he was in the show. Since Rami has emerged as one of the most successful actors in Hollywood with major hits like ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’.
9. Seth MacFarlane
The beloved ‘Family Guy’ creator, Seth MacFarlane appeared twice in ‘Gilmore Girls’. He first appeared in 2002 as Zach, the man with whom Lorelei attended business school in season 2.

Zach and Lorelai had a bit of a frenemy situation brewing midst them. Seth also voices Bob Merriam, the lawyer that Lorelei speaks to on the phone in season three.
8. Jon Hamm
In the episode ‘Eight O’clock at the Oasis’ of season 3, Jon Hamm makes an appearance as Peyton Sanders. Lorelai met Peyton in an auction and hit it off.

However, Peyton turns out to be another bad date that Lorelai has to suffer because of her mother. Five years later, Hamm became famous for playing Don Draper in ‘Mad Men’.
7. Nasim Pedrad
Like Rami Malik, Nasim Pedrad made her debut appearance on screen in the season 6 episode of ‘Gilmore Girls’. Pedrad played a waitress who tried to take Rory’s napkin when she was drunk in the episode titled ‘Bridesmaids Revisited’. Unfortunately, Pedrad’s unnamed character had only two lines in the episode.
6. Jane Lynch
The Primetime Emmy award winner Jane Lynch appeared in the first season of ‘Gilmore Girls’. In the episode titled ‘Forgiveness and Stuff’, Richard is rushed to the hospital after collapsing at the Christmas dinner. Jane was playing a nurse who had the misfortune of confronting a frustrated Emily.
5. Max Greenfield
Max Greenfield appeared in season four, the episode titled ‘Chicken or Beef?’. Greenfield plays Dean’s drunk friend, during his bachelor party.

Max revealed on PeopleTV’s ‘Couch Surfing’ that he still gets tweets about the role. He says, “Like, ‘You were on Gilmore Girls!’ Yes, I was. I had that job, for sure.”
4. Danny Pudi
Hilarious Danny Pudi made frequent appearances on ‘Gilmore Girls’. He appeared in seasons six and seven as Raj. He was a staff member of the Yale Daily News and was featured in four episodes- ‘French Twist’, ‘Go, Bulldogs!’, ‘You’ve Been Gilmored’, and ‘Friday Night’s Alright for Fighting’.
3. Nick Offerman
Nick Offerman played Beau Belleville, Jackson’s elder brother in ‘Gilmore Girls’. He appeared in two non-consecutive episodes. First, in 2003 in the episode ‘The Festival of Living Art’, Beau came to Stars Hollow to help Sookie and Jackson for her first delivery.

He appeared in 2005’s ‘Always A Godmother, Never A God’ where he became Davey and Martha’s godfather.
2. Madeleine Albright
The first female secretary of the U.S. also gave a little appearance in a dream sequence in Gilmore Girls. The late Madeleine Albright appeared in 2005 in ‘Twenty-One Is The Loneliest Number’.

Albright appears in Rory’s dream and repeats the lines that Lorelei used to say for her on her birthdays.
1. Colin Egglesfield
Colin Egglesfield picked up a cameo in ‘Gilmore Girls’ in 2004. He portrayed Sean, a guy who was flirting with Rory while she was on her spring break trip in season 4.
