‘House of the Dragon‘ is back with season two, hitting the screens next summer. An adaption of ‘Fire and Blood‘ by George R.R. Martin, ‘House of the Dragon’ serves as the prequel to the ‘Game Of Thrones’. With the season one finale ending in a cliffhanger, the anticipation for season two has skyrocketed.
Repercussions shall be there, revenge shall be taken and the dead shall be avenged. The poster reveal of season two features the deadly faces of Rhaenyra Targaryen and Olivia Cooke’s Alicent Hightower.

‘House Of The Dragon’ Season 2 Poster Reveal
Before the first trailer, the first look of ‘House of the Dragon’ season was released featuring Emma D’Arcy’s Rhaenyra Targaryen and Olivia Cooke’s Alicent Hightower in a face-off with the tagline “Blood for Blood” and “Fire to Fire”.
After the cliffhanger in-the-mouth ending of season one, season two returns with Rhaenyra and Alicent, the two ‘Game of Thrones’ power players in a brutal face-off.
In the trailer, Rhaenyra announces, “There is no war so hateful to the gods as a war between kin.” Her aunt retorts. “And no war so bloody as a war between dragons.” It will be interesting to see the characters ride their dragons and fight.

Who Will Return In The Second Season?
Season one ended with Aemond Targaryen losing control of his dragon Vhagar and killing Rhaenyra’s son Lucery. And now season two is just one dragon away from the blood-shedding battle. Also, the former friendship between Rhaenyra and Alicent further deteriorates into a bitter and bloody conflict.
The new season will also feature Fabien Frankel, Matt Smith, Jefferson Hall, Simon Russell Beale, Freddie Fox, and Eve Best along with Steve Toussaint, Matthew Needham, and Gayle Rankin.
