Recently, HBO Max’s content CEO Casey Bloys confirmed that the second season of the fantasy series will premiere sometime in 2024. He says that 2024 is a “good guess” while adding that it will not qualify to be nominated for next year’s Emmy.

This means that the series will hit television in the second half of 2024 as Emmy’s deadline is May 31st of every year. “My philosophy is a good script is number one priority,” Bloys said.

He further added: “I am not doing it based on wanting to have one a year, two a year. I want to do it based on the scripts that we’re excited about.” ‘House of the Dragon‘ has been one of the most viewed shows on HBO.
