Jennifer Garner’s Apple TV series is based on Laura Dave’s bestselling novel. ‘The Last Thing He Told Me‘ is a riveting new suspense novel about Hannah, a woman who begins to search for the truth about her husband Owen Michaels’ disappearance. Hurt and confused by his sudden disappearance; she begins to look for her husband. The inspiration for the novel was the Enron trials, as Laura wanted was struck by the interview of Linda Lay, who claimed her husband was innocent.
She does whatever it takes, crossing all lines with her investigation. Before Owen Michaels disappears, he smuggles notes to his wife and stepdaughter Bailey to look after each other no matter what happens. While navigating their life after him, they come upon buried secrets and bundles of cash.
