‘Bridgerton‘ has emerged as one of the most successful shows that earned a fan following pretty quickly. With an ongoing run of three well-acclaimed seasons so far, the showmakers are already making announcements about its fourth season, and fans may not be quite thrilled after finding out what it is.
As the show gears up for the release of the final four episodes of season three, fans are already buzzing with anticipation about which sibling will take the lead in season four. However, showrunner Jess Brownell has spilled a whole different tea for fans to ponder over. Here’s what she said about the much anticipated season 4 of the show.

‘Bridgerton‘ Showrunner Jess Brownell Is Excited To Bring Her “Best Work” To Screens With Season 4
‘Bridgerton‘ showrunner Jess Brownell has been quite careful about not spilling any details about the specifics of the upcoming season of the show. However, she did provide some intriguing hints during the U.K. premiere of part two — and it’s kind of bad news for the show’s fans.
Brownell was speaking to The Hollywood Reporter when she revealed that the writers of the show are nearing the end of the writing process for season four. “I feel like it’s some of my best work and my writers room’s best work,” she said.
In another interview with Reuters, she said, “I can tell you that it is going to be extremely juicy.” Further noting that she is very excited about the work her writers have done so far, she dropped the bombshell about the season’s specifically lengthy production timeline. Brownell revealed that season 4 is expected to have an eight-month filming period followed by extensive editing and dubbing.
However, she also assured that she is trying her best to expedite the process. “We are working to try and put the seasons out more quickly, but they do take eight months to film and then they have to be edited, and then they have to be dubbed into every language,” she said. “We’re kind of on a two-year pace, we’re trying to speed up but somewhere in that range,” Brownell added.

However, she hinted that one of the popular fan-favorite romantic pairings will get a nod in the next season’s direction.
“I think it’s hard to say. There’s so many different ships,” Brownell said. “I think one of the ships is going to be very, very happy,” she added.
She also praised the contributions of the cast, recognizing the momentum built by actors from previous seasons as well as the commendable performances by Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton in the current season.
