Muzan Kibutsuji, while having little on-screen time in Demon Slayer so far, can draw in and keep viewers’ interest intact, anytime he appears on the screen or is referenced. Fans frequently inquire as a result of this as to Muzan’s status as a Demon Slayer or the fate of his family after he assumed the role of the demon progenitor.
Manga fans have questioned if the Upper Moon One monster is more powerful than Muzan, even though anime viewers have not yet been introduced to this character. The answer is simple given the main distinction between their meetings with Yoriichi. There is a demon that could challenge Muzan for supremacy, despite what anime fans may assume. What would happen if they had a fight? Kokushibo vs Muzan.

Who Is Kokushibo?
A significant supporting antagonist in ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ is Kokushibo. He is a demon connected to the Twelve Kizuki, holding Upper-Rank One, which is the highest rank. Kokushibo was originally a human named Michikatsu Tsugikuni, a former Demon Slayer and the elder twin brother of Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the most powerful Demon Slayer ever.
Kokushibo lived during the Sengoku Era, about five centuries ago. The elder Zenitsu Agatsuma, Kagaku, was transformed into a demon by Kokushibo, who is also the ancestor of Muichiro Tokito and Yuichiro Tokito and joined the Twelve Kizuki.
Kokushibo had long, spiky black hair with crimson tips pulled back into a ponytail. He was a tall, strong man with pale skin. His three sets of eyes, which have red sclera and yellow irises with black straight lines extending from each iris, are his most distinctive feature. The word “Upper-Rank One” is written in kanji over his middle set of eyes.
Who Is Muzan Kibutsuji?
The primary antagonist of Demon Slayer is Muzan Kibutsuji. He is the Demon King, the first of his kind and the ancestor of all other demons in existence. The Twelve Kizuki, a group of the twelve most powerful demons in existence, are led by Muzan and report to him.
Muzan was transformed into a demon during an experimental therapy to try to heal his terminal disease millennia ago, during the Heian Era, and ever since then, his objective has been to live without the dread of dying and become really everlasting. Finding the Blue Spider Lily or breeding more demons in hope that one day one of his minions may be able to overcome their vulnerability to sunlight, are the two methods he intends to use to achieve his goal.
Muzan is incredibly smart, cruel, cold-hearted, and scary. He has never seen any human beings as having any value, and he places little value on his own subordinates.
Kokushibo vs Muzan: Who Is a More Powerful Demon?
Koushibu cannot possibly be more powerful than Muzan because Muzan only created Koku a demon. Kokushibu is the only person who can equal Muzan’s speed and endurance. While he would undoubtedly put up a fight against Muzan, maybe lasting longer than 15 minutes, Muzan would win out in the end. Kokushibu has the ability to severely injure Muzan when at full strength. But he can never defeat Muzan alone, though.
