    Apple TV+ series ‘Severance‘ came out of nowhere and blew everyone’s mind. This science fiction psychological thriller follows the employees of Lumon Industries who agree to a “severance” program in which their non-work memories are separated from their work memories.

    The second season of Apple TV+’s ‘Severance‘ was issued right after its massive success. Now, it has started filming with a much bigger cast. There are going to be eight new members.

    Adam Scott, Patricia Arquette, John Turturro, Britt Lower, Zach Cherry, Dichen Lachman, Jen Tullock, Tramell Tillman, Michael Chernus, and Christopher Walken will be returning.

    The newcomers include Bob Balaban, Robby Benson, Stefano Carannante, Gwendoline Christie, John Noble, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Alia Shawkat, and Merritt Wever.

    The second season will pick up from the cliffhanger ending of the first one which showed Scott, Lower, and Turturro’s characters realizing what was happening at their employer. There is no official confirmation of the release date.

    Ben Stiller, the director and executive producer of the show talked about the second season. “We are thrilled and delighted to be back on set for the exciting second chapter ofSeverance’”.

    He continued, “Though we don’t know how long we’ve been gone or who we are outside, we are told people enjoy the show and we couldn’t be happier. Praise Kier!

    Dan Erickson, the series creator, and executive producer said: “We tried to make something that gave us some satisfaction, some modicum of joy, but also opens the door for a lot of different new avenues that we’re gonna go.”

    It’s fun to think about how the events of this episode change the world and change the game for all the characters and how they’re now going to have to contend with that.”
