The reported plans paint Season 2 of ‘The Acolyte’ as a much darker and more ambitious continuation, particularly for Osha and Qimir. Rather than simply continuing the first season’s story, the proposed episodes would have pushed their relationship deeper into the dangerous world surrounding Darth Plagueis.
If these details are accurate, it is easy to see why the scrapped season could have taken the series in a very different direction.
Osha and Qimir Would Have Been Pulled Deeper Into the Dark Side
The story would jump forward one year, with Osha finding herself in increasingly dangerous situations, including a duel against a Hutt in a gladiatorial arena. Meanwhile, Mae would be on another path entirely, with Yoda reportedly training her as she searches for her sister.

The biggest change, however, would involve Qimir. He would allegedly work directly for Darth Plagueis, carrying out assassinations alongside Osha. Two flashbacks would reportedly explore Qimir’s earlier training under Vernestra Rwoh, adding more context to how he eventually became the mysterious dark-side figure audiences met in Season 1.
Qimir’s new base would be a mansion, complete with a sarcastic droid. Plagueis would even appear to visitors as a hologram while secretly remaining hidden inside the mansion, giving the Sith Lord an almost supernatural presence. That sounds like a wonderfully creepy setup.
Plagueis Would Put Qimir and Osha Against Each Other
The reported plans also suggest that Plagueis would become increasingly obsessed with getting Osha under his control. He would repeatedly order Qimir to bring her to him, but Qimir would refuse. Eventually, that disagreement would turn violent, with Plagueis and Qimir dueling and Qimir nearly being killed.

Osha would then save him and take him to a Force-deprivation pool, where their relationship would become more intimate than anything previously shown in Star Wars. The scene was reportedly intended to portray the pair’s attraction without turning the moment into an explicit sequence.
That combination of Sith manipulation, forbidden attachment and competing loyalties could have made Season 2 a fascinating continuation of the first season. Most importantly, it would have placed Osha and Qimir directly between Plagueis and the wider Sith power structure. It would’ve set up a much larger conflict than the one ‘The Acolyte’ ultimately got to explore.
