‘The Boys‘ enjoys a strong fan base among people from all age groups. The Amazon Prime show is mostly known for subverting the existing tropes in the superhero genre. Its third season premiered on June 3 and met with critical acclaim. A fourth season was issued the same month and is currently under production.

‘The Boys’ Season 4: Cast, Plot And Release Date
The fourth season of the much-loved superhero show has started filming in Toronto, Canada. It was commissioned in June this year. While there’s no official confirmation of the release date, we can speculate a date. It could be released somewhere between July 2023 and March 2024 since the pandemic is not as aggressive as it was. A show usually takes somewhere around 10 months to a year to film.
We can speculate on the plot by looking at the ending of the third season. There will also be some crossover between the show and a spin-off series that’s in development. Victoria Neuman will emerge as the villain as she gets a Vice President ticket. Billy The Butcher will be needing all the help he can get after he was left alone post-Temp V. So he will be in serious trouble in the new season.
“They’re up against the DeSantis ticket,” the creator of the show said. “That’s part of the fun of getting into Season 4, which we’re just figuring out for this, but he’s got a crazy ticking clock. He’s got so much to do that he hasn’t done.”
In terms of cast, we can expect the main players to come back. Homelander’s son Ryan will also be a part of the main roster. Victoria Neuman will be the main villain. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is the biggest newcomer to the season four cast.

Two New Supes Introduced For Season 4
On Monday, Amazon Prime Video unveiled the two new hires by Vought International for the fourth season. They are Firecracker (Valorie Curry) and Sister Sage (Susan Heyward).
Both superhero suits have been designed by Laura Jean Shannon, the costume designer of the show. She has also styled Jensen Ackles’ fan-favorite Soldier Boy look.
We will have to wait for the details as the studio has said the characters “will be kept under wraps until the season airs.” Season four is currently under production in Toronto, Canada.
