‘Game of Thrones‘, created by D.B.Weiss and David Benioff for HBO dropped its final season on May 19, 2019, leaving the fans disappointed. It was the end that no one saw it coming unless HBO considers the petition to rewrite the final season. The show is an adaption of ‘A Song of Fire and Ice‘, a series of fantasy novels written by George R. R. Martin.
The most shocking death of season eight was of Khaleesi, the mother of the Dragons, brutally killed by her lover, Jon Snow. Daenerys Targaryen was always a captivating and inspiring leader but her misguided vision of the future and a tendency to get there with fire and blood led to her destruction.

Why Did Jon Snow Kill Daenerys?
‘Games of Thrones’ series finale, “The Iron Throne” wrapped up the story that author George Matin, titled ‘A Song Of Ice and Fire’ with a brutal resolution for the characters who represent ice and fire, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen.
Daenerys became the Mad Queen and massacred the entire population of King’s Landing, burning the city, to the ground and ordering the execution of prisoners afterward. Furthermore, she then announced her desire to continue to violently liberate the rest of the continent and the world as well. Danny acted up soo spontaneously, failing to see the consequences of her action, resulting in her blur future. This event led Tyrion, who had been the Hand of the Queen, to resign from his title – ending with Danny imprisoning him.
Jon Snow and Tyrion Lannister go way back in season one when they traveled together to the Wall. Lannister convinced Jon when Jon visited him in captivity that Danny needs to be stopped straightway as she has gone frantic and is the greatest threat to all the realms. After resisting, Jon agreed and walked into the destroyed throne room of Red Keep, where the Iron Throne sat. After patiently listening to Danny’s plan of freeing all the people, he drives the dagger into her heart saying, “You are my Queen, now and always”.
What Happened to Jon Snow After Daenerys Died?
Driving a dagger into his Queen’s heart might have not been easy for Jon Snow, and the consequences for stabbing the Mad Queen are brutal. Jon Snow ended up as a prisoner by the Unsullied for killing Danny. In light of his actions, the Unsullied banished him from meeting his “half” sisters Arya and Sansa Stark.
Instead, Jon Snow was sent to the North – to the Night’s Watch and not the Wall. Later Snow was reunited with Tormund Gaintsbane and his loyal dire wolf, Ghost. In the series finale, Snow was seen riding toward the north of the Wall covered with snow and a crowd of wildings.
