The cancellation of ‘How I Met Your Father’ comes right after Hulu’s cancellation of ‘The Great.’ It’s unfortunate because, unlike the mother in ‘How I Met You Father,’ the spin-off didn’t have a chance to disclose the identity of the titular father.
The second season of ‘How I Met Your Father’ ended on a cliffhanger; Sophie tells her son that her friends Charlie and Valentina eventually had their own son, Alex. But the crux of the show was still going to be Sophie’s finally coming clear about the identity of the father of her children.
