‘Attack On Titan’ is one of the most popular anime currently, if not the most. The anime has reached its final stage which is rumbling. Many fans disagree with the rumbling. On the other hand, many people agree with Eren’s way and are in full support of him annihilating the world’s population.
However, these people do not take into account the repercussions of killing 80 percent of humanity will have on the people of Paradis Island. Here are the 5 reasons why killing humanity will make it harder for the people of Paradis Island.
5) Destroying The Ecosystem
The titans walking across the seas in order to destroy the population of the entire world will not only destroy people but also the ecosystem. The Titans will trample all over the forests, the farms, and everything. Doing this destroyed much of the world’s forests, contaminated water bodies, and much more. This is something that Eren completely ignored in his quest for revenge.
4) Stopping All Scientific Progress
The people of Paradis Island were cut off from the rest of the world. The things that the world has already invented and is using haven’t reached them yet. This means that they are already behind in terms of scientific progress. By destroying the majority of the world’s population, Eren has completely destroyed all progress and this makes things difficult.
3) It Killed Many Paradis Inhabitants
Contrary to Eren’s claims and beliefs, the rumbling did kill a lot of people on Paradis Island, albeit unintentionally. This further decreased the already dwindling population of the people of Paradis Island. The inhabitants will suffer for this particular loss of theirs.
2) It Doesn’t Make Things Better
After Eren’s death, the Titan era ended. However, that didn’t make things better for the people of Paradis Island. It introduced a lot of infighting among the islanders, specifically with the Yeagerists. The peaceful world that Eren imagined for the people of the island didn’t come into existence despite his efforts.
1) Portrayed The Island In A Bad Light
Eren thought that if Mikasa, Armin, Levi, and others would kill him, it would make them heroes in other people’s eyes. However, that is highly unlikely. The remaining people of the world would always remember the Islanders. In addition to that, this time there would be no titans to protect the people of the island if someone chooses to attack them.
