Forming a group of friends, going through challenges, and developing as a character, all are important aspects of a series of progress. In ‘Black Clover‘ there are a total of Top 9 squads that are headed by squad or knight captains.
These captains are said to hold the power of a total of hundred mages, and above all, we find the Wizard King himself. Top 10 Squad According To Strength
10. Purple Orca
Details about their power or about the Squad captain itself are pretty mysteriously hidden by Yuki Tabata. There’s not much known about them, and they never had any fight where they actually went all out. The squad captain Kaiser holds vortex magic and is known as one of the strongest. Though in comparison to the others, this can be considered as the weakest squad of all.
9. Green Mantis
They may not be the lowest but are a mediocre group. Their power is only suitable for particular situations and not for all fights. At the very beginning of Episodes 4-5, we have seen Sekke, one of the candidates join the group. Nevertheless, since they are one of the squads of the empire they aren’t particularly weak.
8. Aqua Deer
Aqua Deer certainly boasts supremacy over the two aforementioned names. Rill Boismortier the captain of the group is a young kid who boasts power enough to compete with Yuno. He is a genius, as he held the position of captain at 15 years old. Unfortunately, unlike their ancestors who were immensely powerful, their group has now become a weak one.
7. Coral Peacock
Powerful noteworthy people among this group would be the captain and the vice-captain only. The team is led by Dorothy Unsworth and vice-captain Kirsch Vermillion. During the Star Award Festival, their group gathered 67 stars, which is an impressive feat, compared to the above parties.
6. Blue Rose
Like, Dorothy’s team, the Blue Rose squad consists of mediocre members with only the two powerful being captain Charlotte Roselei, and vice-captain Sol. The latter is a devoted follower of the leader and always stands up for her. Their performance at the Award Ceremony was good, but they don’t stand out to get into the Top 5 squad list.

5. Silver Eagle
One of the proudest groups among everyone. Silver Eagle kind of takes the role of a bit sketchy group that looks down on lesser group rankings. Their captain Nozel Silva is also the brother of a powerful member of the Black Bull. Everyone looks almost the same. They utilize their water power to their highest potential.
4. Crimson Lion
One of the favorites and chill group among the nine squads are the Crimson Lions. They use fire as their main power with characters and personalities matching their abilities. Their captain Mereoleona Vermillion is truly powerful and possesses Spirit Magic along with his natural abilities. They are without a doubt the strongest in the squads.
3. Golden Dawn
Unfortunately, the one claimed to be the most powerful stands only at the edge of the Top 3 list. Their leader William Vangeance is rumored to be the next Wizard King. though they were dethroned by the Black Bulls, they’ll not fall short in any more instances. Yuno, one of our main protagonists is also a part of this group.
2. Black Bull
Introduced as the worst and lowest of all the squads, Black Bull is actually one of the strongest guilds. All their members are crazy strong the only thing that stopped them from taking the seat was their laziness to work. They have the best fighters and mages, and needless to say, our noisy character Asta is also there. Yami, the captain of the group is crazy powerful too.
1. Grey Deer
There are originally 9 squads in the series ‘Black Clover’. Adding this to the list is kind of a cheat sheet. Grey Deer the previous original Azure Deer group was captained by none other than the Wizard King himself. Both Yami and William were part of it along with other strong comrades. Though this group has a limited number of people, they are the strongest among all.
