Fusions and transformation are two of the many things the ‘Dragon Ball‘ franchise is known for. All the fusions along with the transformations are unique and have something notable about each one of them. During the tournament of power, many characters were shown and their powers awed the viewers.
Two such characters are Caulifla and Kale, and their fusion is known as Kefla. Fans wonder if the fusion of the two female Saiyans was able to achieve the legendary super Saiyan. Read to find out.

Who Is Kefla?
Kefla is the Potara fusion between Caulifla and Kale. Their fusion is the same as that of Goku And Vegeta called Vegito using the Potara earrings. Those two are Saiyan warriors from universe 6 and are the only two female Saiyans introduced in the entire franchise.
Kefla is a warrior with Kale’s height, and green hair, and her complexion is a mix between the complexion of both the warriors. Kefla is astonishingly powerful, to the extent that Whis, the angel of universe 7, deems her terrifying. Champa, who is the god of destruction of universe 6, has called the fusion the universe’s true Trump card.
Even without using the Super Saiyan form, this particular fusion would be able to overpower most of the players in the tournament of power. Fans however are curious whether this fusion ever transforms into the legendary super Saiyan during the tournament.
Does Kefla Transform Into Legendary Super Saiyan?
During the fight with Goku, Kefla turned into super Saiyan form. She managed to overpower universe 7’s strongest fighter to the point where he had to use both Super Saiyan God and Super Saiyan blue.
However, even that wasn’t enough as Kefla transformed into super Saiyan 2 form. This particular form resembles the super Saiyan Legend form that Broly donned. Although they might seem similar, it is not the same form. Super Saiyan 2 Kefla would have defeated Super Saiyan Blue Goku easily. But Goku transformed into Ultra Instinct Sign at the last moment and turned the tide of the battle.
Kale, one of the fusion warriors, is capable of transforming into a Super Saiyan legend, however, that is not the case for Kefla. Therefore, Kefla was not able to transform into a super Saiyan legend during the tournament of power.
