‘Dragon Ball’ consists of the most powerful transformations and fusions in all of the anime world. Every new season and franchise introduces new characters along with new forms that the Saiyans adopt. These forms are all very much loved by the fans, but the fans are partial to a certain form.
Ultra Instinct is a form that was first introduced in ‘Dragon Ball Super’. This form is the strongest form that the mortals have donned, along with Ultra Ego. There are various forms of this form. Let’s find out what they are.

What Is Ultra Instinct?
Ultra Instinct is a form in which the person can increase their power exponentially. This form allows the user to separate their consciousness from their physical bodies, which implies that the user can fight independently of their body. This increases their power levels beyond comparison.
This particular form is the antithesis or the exact opposite of the Ultra Ego. Ultra Ego is the form used by the gods of destruction and Ultra Instinct is the form used by the angels. Whilst Ultra Ego focuses more on offensive power, the latter allows the user to strengthen their defense and dodge attacks from their opponents.
Goku is the only one who has been shown to use this particular form. He has been taught this form by Whis, who is the angel for Universe 7. This indicates that the angel knows how to use the form and has most likely mastered it. Let’s find out the different forms of this form.

What Are The Different Forms?
The first form of this transformation that Goku ever donned is the Ultra Instinct Sign, he used that form in the tournament of power. This is the most unstable form of Ultra Instinct and can be considered the most basic form.
Then comes the mastered ultra instinct which was first seen against Jiren, a warrior from Universe 11. This was also during the tournament of power.
Then comes the completed ultra instinct which was seen during the Granolah arc in Dragon Ball. Then came the true Ultra Instinct which was seen in the manga during his fight with Gas. These are the forms that Goku has currently donned in that state. Despite these forms being extremely strong, Goku cannot maintain them for a long time as it takes a huge toll on his body.
The forms may seem similar, but the difference between them is the mastery Goku has over his own body in different forms. The more he masters this form, the longer he can sustain it the clearer his senses become, and the more powerful he gets. Although these are the current forms, there is a big possibility that Goku might unlock further forms in Ultra Instinct as the manga progresses.
