‘One Piece’ is quite popular not only in Japan but in the rest of the world as well. It is considered one of the ‘big three anime’ and for good reason. ‘One Piece’ has a complex but intriguing storyline. Despite it being very long, it does not become boring. Who Are The Four Emperors?
The four emperors of the sea are the most dangerous and notorious pirate captains in the world. Although they are classified under the same category, the four emperors are neither friends nor allies. They aren’t enemies either, they are neutral toward one another and prefer to stay autonomous.
The emperors as the name suggests are quite literally emperors of the sea. They are free to do whatever they want and they can exercise control over smaller pirate crews. The four pirate emperors are declared by the world government.
They are also a part of the three great powers in ‘One Piece’ which are the strongest forces in the sea. The three powers are extremely strong and no one interferes with them. The four great pirates consist of Shanks, Big Mom, Kaido, and Blackbeard.
How Did Luffy Become The Fifth Emperor?
Luffy created the Straw Hat pirates’ crew and is the captain of the ship. After they invaded Totto Land, they are on the ship and Carrot receives a newspaper. He shows the newspaper to the crew and they check to see any updates on their crew and their bounties.
Sanji’s bounty increases and he becomes wanted dead or alive. The crew is shocked to see Luffy’s new bounty. His bounty skyrocketed and he was termed the fifth emperor of the sea.
As mentioned above, the world government decided on the four emperors of the sea and these emperors are the most dangerous pirate captains. Luffy commands the Straw Hats and he invaded Totto Land quite skilfully. It is these feats that made him worthy of being termed the fifth emperor of the sea.
However, some people say that there are only four new emperors of the sea, Shanks, Luffy, Blackbeard, and Buggy the clown.
