Who Is Isshiki Ōtsutsuki?
Isshiki Ōtsutsuki is the main antagonist of the series. He is, as the name suggests, an Ōtsutsuki. He is currently inhabiting a monk named Jigen and is using his name as his own. He also is the leader of the Kara organization.
Isshiki came to earth along with Kaguya, Kaguya however betrayed him and he took possession of Jigen who he is currently inhabiting. He is extremely powerful and is quite possibly at the same level as Kaguya, if not superior.
Isshiki is a cruel being. He has no respect for anyone or anything, which is proved when he insults Jigen, his vessel, and curses him for being weak. He is extremely polite in his way of talking and addresses his organization’s members with respect and formality. His true nature is not known by many. Let’s find out if he is more powerful than Naruto.
Is He More Powerful Than Naruto?
When Isshiki and Naruto fought in ‘Boruto‘, Isshiki was close to dying. His current vessel isn’t strong enough to handle all his power and as a result, deteriorates. Before fighting Naruto, Isshiki only had a few hours left to live.
Even then Isshiki almost defeats Naruto. If it wasn’t for his using Baryon mode with the help of Kurama, Naruto would have lost. However, even with Baryone mode, Isshiki was stronger. This is because of the limitations of the Baryon mode. It uses Chakra rapidly which in turn reduces the person’s lifespan, and this cannot be used for a long time without the user dying.
In addition to that, Isshiki was not in his perfect vessel. Which meant that he could not use the full extent of his power. His perfect vessel is Kawaki and if he has inhabited him during the fight, he would have won.
This makes Isshiki stronger than Naruto. Also, Naruto cannot use Baryon mode without Kurama. This indicated that Isshiki is far stronger than Naruto and would defeat him if they fought again.
