Friendship and conflicts are a part of everyone’s life. Talking about celebrities, the scenario is the same, but those friendships are often regarded by fans as #friendshipgoals. Just like Taylor Swift and Cara Delevingne, loyal friendships are very much admired. If you are in doubt about their bond, here is everything you should know.
It was quite impossible to avoid Taylor Swift’s famed squad of celebrity friends in the mid-2010s. The squad was everywhere we looked. It started from fantastic get-togethers spilled over the various members’ social media profiles to the huge “Bad Blood” music video, which featured some A-list female celebrities.
Cara Delevinge Played An Important Role In Taylor Swift’s The Squad
Cara Delevingne was one of the squad members, and she played an important part in keeping the group engaged. Delevingne revealed on a 2016 episode of “The Late Late Show with James Corden” that she convinced Ruby Rose and Uzo Aduba to prank Kesha and the Haim sisters at Swift’s Rhode Island home.
Swift explained that while she wasn’t a part of the joke, she was well aware of it.
“[We] told Taylor and Tom [Hiddleston, Swift’s ex] because security is massive” — and she didn’t stop the prank, either. Taylor and Tom … came upstairs, and Uzo was in the corner with a light in her hand, holding a speaker; I was throwing myself on the floor punching things … and, like, screaming, and they were like, ‘Okay, we’re just going to walk back downstairs.'”
According to People, Delevingne was also the life of the party when she joined Swift on stage during a 2015 concert in Philadelphia.
Many people have wondered if the group is still as close after a few years. Swift’s friendship with Karlie Kloss has been called into doubt. But what about her connection with Cara Delevingne, the party-loving prankster?
Taylor Swift Has Cara Delevingne’s Complete Support
Karlie Kloss has been forced to clarify her connection with Taylor Swift after a series of hints suggested things were not going well between them. Cara Delevingne’s bond with the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer, on the other hand, appears to have never faltered.
The model has been a huge supporter of Swift over the years, telling Variety that she and Swift lived together for a while and that she and Swift’s longtime closest friend, Selena Gomez, had identical tattoos.
Delevingne gushed over Taylor’s “You Need to Calm Down” in 2019. “What [Taylor] is doing is brilliant,” she said in an interview with Variety about the song. The star of “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets” praised her friend for being so outspoken about her support for the LGBTQIA+ community.
She has been upfront about her sexuality and also revealed that the song’s supporting message impacted her so much that she “cried” since she first heard it. Delevingne recently expressed her enthusiasm for the release of Taylor Swift’s “Folklore” album in 2020.
She and Cindy Crawford’s daughter posed together in one of Swift’s promotional cardigans in an image uploaded on supermodel Kaia Gerber’s Instagram story.
Cara Is Deeply Loyal To Taylor

Cara Delevingne’s support for Taylor Swift is genuine sisterhood at its finest, and it hasn’t gone ignored by the singer. Swift was ready to raise Delevingne’s praises and underline her loyalty in a 2020 Variety story on her. “Cara is extreme, eccentric, hilarious, loving, and deeply loyal,” she conveyed.
Swift’s portrayal of Delevingne as a loyalist may have been solidified in 2019. Following Scooter Braun’s forced purchase of Swift’s masters and Justin Bieber’s subsequent defense of Braun in an open letter posted to Instagram.
Delevingne jumped to her friend’s side and slammed Bieber’s post, according to screenshots released by Teen Vogue.
“I wish you spent less time sticking up for men and more time trying to understand women and respecting their valid reactions,” the model relayed. “Take a step back and try and learn from this. We should all be on the same team. End of story.” Delevingne’s fiery reply, though, was only the beginning.
Following the disappearance of her comment from Bieber’s post, she posted a screenshot of the discussion to her Instagram Stories, along with the message, “Love you @taylorswift.” Given that Swift described Delevingne as “profoundly sensitive” in an interview with Variety.
Delevingne’s swift, no-nonsense response to the singer’s criticism only makes sense. She is certainly someone whom anyone would want on their side, and Swift appears to be one of them.
