According to TMZ, Grande is giving some space to Slater so that he can work things out with his wife. They have not met each other since the news of the divorce broke.
Slater, recently flew down to New York whereas the ‘God is a Woman’ singer is in Los Angeles this weekend. It is stated that the two celebrities had already split from their partners before they started dating.

The former couple, Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez had separated back in January. “Ariana and Dalton both realized they were very different people and quietly separated earlier this year. Ariana and Ethan connected as friends first because they have a lot in common and many similar interests,” a source told Entertainment Tonight.
However, Ethan Slater’s estranged wife was quite surprised at the news of the romance.“[Ariana’s] the story, really. Not a girl’s girl. My family is just collateral damage. The story is her and Dalton,” Jay said. Lilly Jay and Ethan Slaters share a child. They have been talking about co-parenting and separating as of the latest.
