The power couple Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach got married in a low-key ceremony, in the presence of close friends and family members. The event was quite under wraps as none of the media was aware of any such thing happening.
The low-key wedding event was held at City Hall in New York, reports suggested. Some sources from Page Six caught the ‘Barbie’ director sharing the news backstage at Billy Joel’s Madison Square Garden concert on Tuesday.
The source said the newlywed couple was “glowing and celebrating. They are so happy.” Gerwig was donning a stunning white suit skirt and jacket, carrying a bridal charm to her aura. Baumbach, meanwhile, was wearing a stylish suit, fighting right with his new bride.

How Long Have Greta And Noah Been Together?
The couple has always had a low-key approach to their relationship. They started dating in 2011, and following a nine-year-long relationship, got engaged in 2020. Though the couple worked on the blockbuster movie ‘Barbie‘ together, their chemistry as co-writers of the movie was more visible than their chemistry as a couple – mostly because of their private nature.
Gerwig and Baumbach, however, seemed excited as they shared the news of their wedding at City Hall. The couple then headed uptown to enjoy Billy Joel’s performance.
This is Gerwig’s first marriage, while Baumbach has been married to actress Jennifer Jason Leigh before. He shares a son, 13-year-old Rohmer, with his ex-wife. Gerwig and Baumbach also have two children together. Other than their four-year-old son, Harold Ralph Gerwig Baumbach, the duo welcomed their second child – a son they call ‘Schmoo’ in March.
2023 has indeed been Gerwig’s year in professional as well as personal aspects – with her seeing ‘Barbie‘ reach such heights, having her second child, and finally getting married to the man she loves.
