‘Breaking Bad‘ was born out of a joke. Creator Vince Gilligan’s friend joked about them traveling in an RV and living off as meth cooks. The premise stick with Gilligan, who went on to create the best television series of all time, which changed how antihero stories are told. Despite its slow start and despicable characters, the show found its demographic.
Thanks to its nuanced writing and complex characters, the audience responded and resonated with an ordinary man turning to a life of crime. Apart from Water White and Jesse Pinkman, the writers created a fascinating ensemble cast. The show ended years ago, but the cast remains close to our hearts.
