Britney Spears has been trying to live a normal life without any constraints ever since her conservatorship ended last year. The 40-year-old pop star is also very active on social media these days where she posts her pictures and talks about her conservatorship experience.
Lately, the ‘Toxic‘ singer started a feud with fellow singer Christina Aguilera after commenting about her dancer’s body. Fans were quick to notice and Britney was called out for her words. Now the Grammy Award winner has responded to alleged fat shaming Christina’s background dancers on social media.

Britney Spears Allegedly Fat Shamed Christina Aguilera’s Dancers
Spears has used social media to talk about the things she went through. One post recently rubbed off in a bad way. The ‘Scream & Shout‘ singer has been receiving a lot of heat online.
Last Monday, Britney shared the picture of a quote by comedian Rodney Dangerfield which read: “I found there was only one way to look thin: Hang out with fat people.”
Spears mentioned fellow pop star Christina Aguilera and said: “I wish I could have chosen the nannies for my children … my dancers … I mean if I had Christina Aguilera’s dancers I would have looked extremely small… I mean why not talk about it ??”
She added: “Don’t you think my confidence would have been a bit better if I could choose where I lived, ate, whom I called on the phone, dated and who was on stage with me !!! It’s hard sometimes now I see how much of my womanhood was stripped away at that time and every person sat back and didn’t say a thing !!!”
Spears then concluded that she will use her Instagram for self expression and “will be here talking bout things people NEVER talked about !!.”

Spears Responds To The Backlash
While her intentions might be to talk about her trauma, fans quickly pointed out that the post reeked of fat shaming toward Aguilera.
One fan wrote: “Oof. Love Brit – but this was in bad taste. Body shaming to make yourself feel better is not where it’s at.” Several other users also called her out and requested to delete the post.
The ‘Femme Fatale’ singer tried to clear the air and said that she has always supported Aquilera. “By no means was I being critical of Christina’s beautiful body, it is what it is !!!“, she wrote.
She further added: “I flew to see her show once and the main thing I noticed was the difference of our people on stage !!! By no means did I even mention Christina, look at my post !!! I was inspired by her show and she is a beautiful woman of power … Thank you @xtina for inspiring me !!!”
But Britney’s comments have reportedly upset Aguilera who has unfollowed her on social media.
