Chris Evans and Ana de Armas teamed up for the Netflix movie, ‘The Gray Man,‘ which was released recently. In a recent interview with Heart Radio, the Captain America actor recalled the statement he made about his love life during his interview with ShondaLand.
Evans recalled his comment about how he was “laser-focused on finding a partner”. This comment of his didn’t quite work in his favor, as it became heavily publicized. Chris Evans says that he regrets opening up about it, and he should have followed her co-star, Ana de Armas’ advice.

Ana de Armas Told Chris Evans, ‘You did it to yourself.’
On Heart Radio, the actor was again posed with a similar question. The 41-year-old actor answered, “Ah jeez. You said it.” while looking at de Armas. “This is why it doesn’t pay to be candid in these,” the actor continued. Evans then added how Armas had warned him against it, saying, “I can’t believe I even said that. Ana said it the other day. She was like, ‘You did it to yourself.’
Evans pointed out that the media reaction to his comment was quite hyped up and unnecessary. “It felt like a really honest response in the moment, but it had this reaction.” The actor believed he could dig himself “a deeper hole” but de Armas warned him: “Don’t answer it!”
The Shondaland Interview Made Evans Realize Something Important
The Shondaland interview apparently made Chris Evans realize that he must put himself on a tighter grip while answering media questions. The much shared and talked about comment that Evans made during the Shondaland interview was: “[I’m] laser-focused on finding a partner, you know, someone that you want to live with. I mean, look – I love what I do. It’s great; I pour all of myself into it. But in terms of – even this industry is full of pockets of doubt, hesitation, and recalibration in terms of really trying to find someone that you really can pour all of yourself into. Maybe it’s about trying to find someone that you’re looking to spend your life with.”
‘The Gray Man,‘ starring both Chris Evans and Ana de Armas is out now on Netflix. The movie is a new action thriller by the directors of, ‘Avengers: End Game’. Chris Evans plays Lloyd Hansen, a CIA mercenary sent to annihilate his own colleague, Sierra Six, played by Ryan Gosling. Meanwhile, Ana de Armas plays Dani Miranda, a CIA operative swept up in the pursuit of Sierra Six, the deadly assassin.
