Taking to her Instagram story, Chris revealed the shocking discovery of an infection that went unnoticed for years. The HGTV star urged her followers to put the well-being of their bodies first and also prioritize their dental check-ups to avoid similar complications.
Christina Hall’s recent health update sheds light on the unseen dangers of untreated dental issues. Since all those brush-before-bed advertisements weren’t enough for many, something like this will get them to call in that dentist’s appointment. After undergoing a root canal in 2020 to address an infection detected via X-ray, Hall was alarmed to discover the infection had returned without any noticeable symptoms.
Christina described the situation as “disturbing,” making sure to emphasize the importance of regular dental monitoring to prevent such serious health complications.
Despite the lack of symptoms, Hall is scheduled for an ‘explant’ procedure next week to address the infection. Moreover, Hall’s health journey hasn’t been very smooth sailing with past revelations about mercury and lead poisoning. In a 2022 Instagram post, she disclosed, “Most likely from all the gross houses I’ve been in the bad flips and I have small intestine bacteria overgrowth. So, we are first detoxing all of this through herbs and IVs and then see how I feel and tackle the implants.” This latest health update from Hall serves as a reminder of the importance of dental care and proactive health management.

On ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show‘, the HGTV star talked about the deterioration of his and Christina Hall’s marriage and the part he played in it. The former ‘Flip or Flop’ couple was married for seven years before splitting up in 2016.
Without using his health battle as an excuse, Tarek El Moussa explained what went wrong in his life and eventually ended his and Hall’s marriage: “I wasn’t the best guy during those years. When you’re going through multiple cancers back-to-back and your hormones are off and you’re in surgeries and you have no thyroid, you do things you normally wouldn’t do.”
He added, “But you know, what really broke me was my divorce. That was exponentially more difficult than every issue in my entire life put together. And somehow, I got through it.”
Tarek and Christina share a daughter Taylor, 13, and a son Brayden, 8. Following their divorce, the TV personality married Heather Rae El Moussa and the two welcomed their first child together in January 2023 and named him Tristan Jay. Christina, on the other hand, married realtor Joshua Hall in 2022 and is very happy.
