‘The Big Bang Theory’ Episode That Started Cuoco’s Romance With Johnny Galecki
The actress dated her ‘The Big Bang Theory‘ co-star Johnny Galecki for two years. They decided to split in December 2009 but the two have remained good friends.
During an interview for the book ‘The Big Bang Theory: The Definitive, Inside Story,’ she revealed the episode that kick-started their real-life romance. It was the 2008 season one episode titled ‘The Nerdvana Annihilation’.
In it, a dream sequence depicts Galecki’s Leonard saving Cuoco’s Penny in an elevator. “We had to be in each other’s arms, and for quite some time, because it was a bit of a stunt that we were doing,” Galecki said. Cuoco interrupted and said, “I think we fell a little in love in that elevator shaft.”
