Donald Trump is hitting the headlines just right as the presidential elections approach. Not surprisingly, he’s holding no bars while using different, creative strategies to campaign for the elections. Right from Elon Musk to Taylor Swift, the Republican leader has gotten everyone involved while trying to win votes.
On his Truth Social account, the former president has now shared a series of images in which he claimed that pop sensation Taylor Swift has thrown her support behind his campaign for 2024. Here’s how it went and whether or not Swift’s fans are buying it.
Is Taylor Swift Supporting Donald Trump This Election Year?
Donald Trump apparently wants the world — or rather the young Swifties , who make up a considerable voter-base — to believe that Taylor Swift is a Trumpie. On Sunday night, he posted several doctored screenshots showing women sporting “Swifties for Trump” shirts.
One particularly absurd image even photoshopped Taylor Swift as Uncle Sam, complete with the message: “Taylor wants you to vote for Donald Trump.” To add to it, he captioned the post with an enthusiastic, “I accept!”
However, the images seem like a mere political fantasy for Trump, considering Swift’s actual stance on him. The pop star had openly endorsed Joe Biden in the 2020 election and hasn’t exactly minced words about her feelings toward Trump, especially after his response to the George Floyd protests.
Swift notably tweeted in 2020, “After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? We will vote you out in November.”
So it’s fair to assume that Swift never endorsed Trump, and the MAGA rallier is bluffing it. Swift or her representatives haven’t commented on the matter yet.

Taylor Swift Is Donald Trump’s Old Muse
This is not the first time that Donald Trump has mentioned Taylor Swift as part of his political campaign. He has already mused over Swift’s politics once before when he called her “beautiful” but “liberal,” adding, “She probably doesn’t like Trump.”
Now that the Democratic National Convention is heating up in Chicago—with celebs like Mindy Kaling and Kerry Washington set to host—it’s safe to say Swift won’t be rocking any “Trump 2024” gear anytime soon.
In fact, the singer is seemingly careful about taking any political stance this time. While she has very clearly endorsed Biden back in 2020, this time, she has notably avoided making any direct statement for or against anyone. Biden, on the other hand, did smartly use her popularity in her favor before he stepped down from the presidential elections.
